Calculated vs measured evidence classes

Every engineering number is either CALCULATED (with its method and inputs) or MEASURED (with instrument, observer, time and uncertainty). A “measured” label without that evidence is refused.

What it is

MEASUREMENT_UNVERIFIED refuses the Measured label when independent evidence is missing; calculated values list any missing lineage instead of filling it in; the HUD gives each class its own badge.

Rung 6 of 8: LIVE-PROVEN

A bounded probe ran the real code path on a booted JARVIS on the real machine and recorded evidence. The project treats live evidence as expiring after 24 hours, so every live reading here shows the date it was taken.

  1. CONCEPT Designed or specified. No working code yet.

  5. PRODUCTION-REACHABLE The owner can reach it through the real runtime path, not only through a test harness.

Limits

Limitations

  • The “measurement” in the proof was a fixture, not a physical reading.
  • There is no separate “simulated” evidence class yet.
  • Proven on an isolated diagnostic core with synthetic test fixtures, not on the owner’s everyday runtime.
