Open Calculator, then refuse to reach for an ungranted tool
JARVIS launched Calculator on the named monitor and verified it, closed it on request, and refused a follow-up to type into it: the plan needed a tool it had not been granted. The arithmetic was not done.

Research that shows where every sentence came from
Asked how the James Webb Space Telescope keeps its instruments cold, JARVIS read 3 of 3 sources from 3 independent origins in 19.9 s, captured each page as read, and tied every finding to its source. The spoken summary was weak.

“Emergency stop.” Then nothing moves until an explicit re-arm
A typed “Emergency stop.” took a 420 ms turn. The HUD went red and STOPPED and stayed latched. JARVIS was shut down, restarted with an explicit re-arm, and reported HEALTHY 41 s after relaunch.

Memory
Remember, recall, forget, and then correctly not know
Four typed turns on the running system: a fact is remembered, recalled word for word, forgotten on request, and then not recalled. JARVIS said: “I don’t know. You asked me to forget the earlier information, so I no longer retain it.”

A research mission that leaves a receipt
A typed request started a research mission on Artemis news. It ran as three dependent steps within a 120-second budget, all three succeeded in 2.7 s of active time, and the dossier was saved as a durable, revisioned receipt.

500 verified browser reads, then a replaced target refused
On 22 September, on the unmerged Advanced Systems operator branch, 500 read-only target reads in an isolated Chromium verified in 2.81 s across a restart. A same-label replacement was then refused as target_missing_or_replaced. The pages were fixtures.

A governed STEP union through FreeCAD, verified across a restart
On 22 September, on the unmerged Advanced Systems branch, a real JARVIS core discovered the STEP commands, ran a FreeCAD union of two 1,000 mm³ boxes in about 0.39 s, published and registered a 1,500 mm³ result, kept its lineage across a restart, and refused changed output bytes.

A thermal bench solve, asked for in plain words and filmed
On the booted production system, a typed request ran the thermal_bench solver case and opened the engineering panel. Both steps were verified; four values came back labelled calculated, with provenance and a stated modelling shortcut. The turn took 5.1 s.

Operating Calculator end to end, ten steps verified
On 19 September an isolated real JARVIS core launched a new Calculator window and ran ten steps against it: scope, maximise, restore, inspect, find a control by name in 249.1 ms, invoke it, set an exact rectangle, close and shut down. Each step was independently verified.

E-stop during a GPU render: every owned process settled in 374.68 ms
On 19 September an E-stop was triggered while a local image-generation mission was rendering on the GPU. It was acknowledged in 19.4 ms, all three owned processes had settled by 374.68 ms, none survived, and no artifact was published.

A four-step research mission, completed in 10.8 s
On 16 September a four-step mission to gather and file NASA news ran to completion in 10.8 s on the normal launcher. JARVIS then answered 'where are we' and 'what failed' from the mission record, not from memory of the conversation.

Open Notepad, then refuse a target that expired
On 16 September a typed 'open Notepad' was verified in 2.3 s and bound as a window referent. About a minute later a follow-up on the same window was refused, because its identity lease had expired.

A corrected fact survives a real restart, and a forgotten one stays forgotten
On 12 September JARVIS was given a standing instruction, restarted, asked to recall it, corrected, and asked again. It recalled the correction in all three drives. 'Forget' failed twice before a repair and then answered 'I don't know.'

Research that produces a cited report and opens it
On 12 September JARVIS researched a question from two named documentation pages, wrote a Markdown report and an HTML copy through its governed file owner, and read both back by digest. Six findings each cite a named source. One live defect was repaired.

A spoken-style engineering question answered with exact, labelled calculations
Between 8 and 10 September a live engineering drive asked JARVIS to compare the pressure of 100 N on 1, 2 and 4 m square plates. All six recorded answers gave 100, 25 and 6.25 Pa, labelled as calculated, not measured. Turn time rose across the runs, cause not established.

HUD
A live proof that deliberately does nothing physical
On 19 August the real core and HUD were booted on isolated loopback ports. Three unauthenticated gesture controls were refused with 403, an E-stop blocked the gesture pipeline, and the HUD rendered that truthfully. No camera opened and no window moved.
