Can I use JARVIS or talk to it from this site?
No. JARVIS runs only on its owner’s computer and has no public interface. This website is a separate application with no connection to it.
Is JARVIS finished?
No. Nothing is release-qualified yet. At the last census (17 September 2026), 9 of 342 registered capabilities had passed a live probe. The capability catalogue and the limitations page show exactly where each part stands.
Does JARVIS run its own language model?
Not in production. Reasoning currently uses a hosted model. A local model is being trained and evaluated on the owner’s single 12 GB GPU, and no candidate has passed its gates so far. The training page explains the process and the results.
Can JARVIS control the computer on its own?
It can operate Windows applications, files and the browser, but every effect passes an emergency stop and a fail-closed policy check, risky classes of action need the owner’s explicit approval, and every result is checked against what actually happened on screen.
Can JARVIS print things?
It can prepare prints: convert a model, slice it and estimate time and material. The final step of starting a physical print deliberately refuses today, and there is no evidence JARVIS has ever started one.
Why are there no voice samples?
The project publishes no audio of the JARVIS voice. The voice page explains the architecture and why samples are withheld.
Where do the numbers come from?
From the project’s own ledgers, test runs and measurement records, exported by hand and reviewed. Each number shows its date and evidence type. None of it is live telemetry.
Why did the number of live capabilities go down?
Because the definition of live became stricter: a real booted process, a real port, no test doubles, evidence on disk, and expiry after 24 hours. Features were not removed.
What happens when I suggest a feature?
It is moderated and, if approved, shown in the request lab where others can vote. The owner reads suggestions and decides what gets built; votes inform that decision but do not make it.
What data do you keep about me?
Only what you type into a suggestion, plus an email address if you ask for status updates. Your IP address is never stored; a one-way keyed hash is used for rate limiting and one vote per visitor. See the privacy notice.
Is this affiliated with a film?
No. JARVIS is an independent personal project with its own design. It is not affiliated with any film studio or franchise.
