Privacy notice

The short version

• No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts run on this site.
• The site sets no cookies of its own.
• Your IP address is never stored. A one-way keyed hash of it is used to limit abuse and to allow one vote per visitor.
• If you submit a suggestion, we keep what you typed. We keep an email address only if you ask for status updates, or if you choose to follow the build.
• Nothing you submit reaches JARVIS itself. Suggestions are website content that the owner reads.

Browsing

Pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes connection data (such as your IP address and browser details) to deliver pages and protect the service; that processing is governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. The website itself does not log visits, run analytics or store anything in your browser.

Suggestions and votes

The hash is computed with a secret key held only by the website, so it cannot be turned back into your IP address or matched against other sites. Moderation notes the owner writes are private and never published.

Follow the build (email updates)

If you sign up to follow the build, the website stores your email address in its own database, only because you ticked the consent box, and only to send JARVIS project updates such as new demos, benchmark results and journal entries.

• Your address is never shared, sold or shown to anyone, and it is not used for anything other than project updates.
• When you sign up you are shown a private removal link. Opening it and confirming deletes your address from the list.
• Alongside the address, the database keeps the date you signed up, a keyed hash used for rate limiting (never your IP address) and a one-way hash of your removal link.
• The list is kept until you remove yourself. If you have lost the link, send a request in the lab with the category “This website” and ask for your address to be removed.

Anti-spam check

Submitting a suggestion, voting or signing up for updates uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is present. Turnstile runs in your browser only on those actions and processes signals needed for that check under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The website receives only a pass or fail result.

Your choices

• You can suggest ideas anonymously by leaving the display name blank.
• You can ask for a suggestion, or your email address, to be removed. Submit a request in the lab with the category “This website” and the suggestion’s link, and the owner will remove it.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
